  • No. For home chargers, no special approvals are required apart from ensuring sufficient sanctioned load. For public or commercial chargers, local DISCOM approvals and safety compliance are necessary.

  • Yes. Our chargers are equipped with TFT/HMi touch screen and enabled with WIFI, RS485, LAN/4G/5G, OCPP v1.6J, Sim-slot, mobile CMS app integration, RFID access, QR Code, remote monitoring, and energy metering.

  • Yes. Chargers with sockets can charge all types of vehicles connected with on-board chargers. Some of our chargers have dual guns and multiple connectors, allowing more than  one EV to charge simultaneously depending on available power.

  • Up to 7.5 kW AC: Requires a single-phase connection (LT 7–10 kVA load).
    DC Chargers (HT 15 kW and above): Require a three-phase commercial connection preferably an EV meter connection for better profitability due to govt subsidy.

  • Ideally AC chargers are slow chargers ideal to install at places where the EV’s are parked over for longer duration of time. Range – AC Chargers (3.3 kW – 22 kW): Ideal for homes, offices, residential apartments and commercial establishments.

    DC Chargers are fast chargers with rapid speed of charging capability. Range (15 kW – 720 kW): Best for commercial, fleet, and highway charging where fast charging is a pre-requisite.

  • Yes. Our chargers are weatherproof (IP54/IP65 rated) and include protections against short-circuit, surge, and over-voltage, designed for Indian grid conditions. All our chargers are built in rugged power coated metal enclosures with mechanical strength IK-10.

  • We provide remote monitoring as well as nationwide service support. Most issues can be diagnosed and fixed remotely, and we also provide on-site support when needed and rectify the issue and maintain minimum downtime.

  • Our chargers come with a 1–3-year warranty (depending on the model) and we also offer extended warranty and AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts) and CAMC (Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contracts) at a very reasonable price. The USP of our company is since we are the core manufacturers of chargers all the components are made in-house thus are able to service each and every component of the charger and offer repair services including physically damaged Type2 & CCS2 Guns at extra cost with readily available spares post warranty.

  • Yes. Belectriq will provide end-to-end installation support including initial site survey, load assessment, help in understanding the load acquisition process, supply, installation, testing and commissioning with handover.

  • Absolutely. All our chargers are Made in India, ARAI/BIS certified, and comply with Ministry of Power (MoP) and MNRE guidelines for EV charging infrastructure. Our chargers are inbuilt with Energy Meter calibrated by class 1 metering for accurate usage with billing.

  • Yes. Under the FAME II scheme and various state EV policies, subsidies are available for setting up public charging stations. Incentives differ by state. Also, the schemes keep updating time to time for which the operator has to keep tab on the latest schemes rolled out by government to avail the benefits.

  • On average, depending on your state’s electricity tariff and the battery capacity for a full charge an average 4-Wheeler might consume 20-30 kWh units of electricity.
    Example – If per kWh unit tariff is Rs. 8 then the cost of charging will be Rs. 160-240 per charge.

  • Yes. For independent homes, the charger can be installed in your parking space. In apartments or gated communities, you’ll need permission from the RWA/association and sufficient sanctioned load from your electricity provider.

  • Yes. Our chargers are ARAI and BIS certified and support the standard connectors for AC Charger its Type-2 and for DC Charger its CCS2. Whereas CHAdeMO, GB/T, Tesla are no more prevalent and obsolete standard in India thus Belectriq has stopped production.

  • Charging time depends on your vehicle’s battery size and charger capacity.

    For example – A level 1 3.3kW home charger or a portable charger (also known as on-board charger) takes 8-9 hours to fully charge the EV. However, a Level 2 7.4kW Belectriq Charger AC 7.5 Type2 Gun charger can fully charge a 40-kWh battery in about 4–5 hours.
