The Ministry of Heavy Industries has revised the&nbsp;<strong>Phased Manufacturing Programme (PMP)<\/strong>&nbsp;norms, making localisation of critical EV charger components such as&nbsp;<strong>controllers and power modules<\/strong>&nbsp;mandatory by&nbsp;<strong>December 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This comes at a time when the government has also extended the&nbsp;<strong>PM eDrive scheme<\/strong>&nbsp;to 2028, ensuring continued subsidy support for electric buses and public charging.
